Starstud your Home with Artichoke Lamp

Lights add life to a house. One of the most important elements in interior decoration is to choose and decide the lighting fixtures to be used to decorate every room in your house. You may choose to have a soft-light setting in a particular room and make it bright and vibrant in another. Choosing the appropriate lamps for your home becomes essential to achieve the desired results.

The most important requirement of any lamp is that it should be able to direct its entire luminosity on to a desired area with minimum losses, without glare. The Artichoke lamp is a marvel in terms of technology and design that was originally conceived by Poul Henningsen in 1958. The Pendent Lamp, as the name suggests, are usually ceiling lamps that are suspended by a chord. They come in different sizes and materials. The Designer Pendent Lamp could still be found hanging at a restaurant called “Langelinie” Pavilion in Copenhagen, Denmark for which it was formerly designed.

The PH Artichoke Lamp is made of 72 copper leave shaped strips placed on 12 rows of circular steel arches that are staggered from each other. This innovative architecture ensures the luminance of the light source in an all round direction without any glare. The Artichoke pendant is made up of several materials like aluminium, steel and copper. They are available in two different sizes, 67 cm and 97 cm. The Artichoke Lamps are sure to star-stud your homes and your lives.
